Why Root your android device?

I can not tell you how many people a day ask me ” Why should I root my phone?”. Well, the reason i root my phone is to have full customization. What i mean by that is you can almost do any thing you want with it when you root it. You can get rid of ads, you can install updates to your phone that wont be released for a while if at all. You can install custom roms that make your phone faster and have it themed. You can have stock android on your phone.You can overclock it to make games run smoother or you can under clock to get better battery life. The possibilities are endless. Yes, there are some cons to rooting also. When you root you do void your warranty and you have a chance of bricking or breaking your phone.But, there are ways you can avoid it. You can unroot and use an app called triangle away to get your warranty back if something happened. If you pay attention before installing something on your device and make sure it is specifically and only for your android device then you will not be bricked. Your phone or tablet will not break if you are aware and pay attention to what you are doing. Top 5 Roms For Att Galaxy S3

These are my 5 favorite roms that i have yet to use. Some give you fast experience and some also give lots of customization

 

5. CSRom

4. Urban Karnage Rom

This gives you touchwiz and some 4.2 apps which makes this rom great. You also get KT Kernel and lots of other tweaks.

 

3. JellyBam Rom

This mixes Paranoid, Aokp, Cyanogenmod, and Touchwiz. The Customization is endless.

 

2. Serenity Rom

This was the first touchwiz Jellybean rom and it makes your S3 have features the Note 2 has. it is a great and fast rom.

This gives you stock android, jellybean 4.2.1, and alot of tweaks making your phone be as fast as it can.

Is it to late for Ubuntu to enter the Phone Race?

Ubuntu has recently come out and shown a new OS for phones and tablets. It does look very slick and beautiful but there is one more thing. They are only planning to release it in 2014! Now this makes me and a lot of others think, is it to late? I mean now there is IOS, Android, Windows, and almost BlackBerry 10. Would Ubuntu end up being peoples 5th or 4th choice? For me the more the better. There is always room for more and when more competition greater innovation. So i love the idea of another operating system. No, I do not thing they are to late. If they bring something new and not seen before then there will always be people wanting to try it out. As of now they will have a port of the OS for the Galaxy Nexus, but surprisingly not for the Nexus 4. Before you give up on Ubuntu and say it is to late give there OS a try and who knows it might be the next big thing!
